WALKTHROUGH: PART 9 OF 9

Decapitation and Greater Good

Missions 15 and 16, and the campaign trophies

No trophies in the missions themselves

Neither Decapitation nor Greater Good has a trophy or a collectible of its own. Finishing Greater Good finishes the campaign, which earns Hold the Line on any difficulty and, on Realism, Was it worth it?; see Hold the Line and Realism.

Decapitation

Where: North Korea, an off-the-books strike on a palace meant to end the war. You play as Private Park, first as the door gunner of the strike team’s helicopter, then inside with the strike team.

  • 1

    Secure the landing zone

On the approach, use the helicopter’s mounted grenade launcher on every soldier and vehicle around the palace. It comes in three parts: clear the forward landing zone, clear the roof for the special forces, then deal with the attack helicopter that answers the assault.

  • 2

    Down into the palace

After landing, Lieutenant West volunteers Park as the strike team’s extra gun. Follow Lieutenant Ko to the blown-out skylights and rappel down; enemies pour into the main hall as you descend. Clear them, then the secondary entrance hall, then the stairs down. Wait with the squad at the double doors behind the car, and turn round to shoot the soldiers coming down the stairs behind you while the breachers blow the doors to the museum.

  • 3

    The museum halls

Let your team go in first. Each of the two halls has two waves, the second arriving when you reach the middle, and the second hall’s backup includes armored soldiers: go for the head. On Veteran and above, fight along the sides rather than through the middle of the first hall, and keep to the left in the second, because enemies come out of a side room on the right. Then follow Ko to the hidden entrance to the detention block and wait for the portrait to swing open.

  • 4

    The detention block

Ko cuts the power: switch on night vision. Clear the cell blocks behind your squad; a shotgun such as the Rezi 12 makes short work of the armored guards and attack dogs. Then follow Ko into the offices, which are crowded: move slowly to avoid being flanked, and in the main office expect armored soldiers and at least two dogs.

  • 5

    The war room

Stack up behind Ko for the breach and kill the stunned enemies inside when the doors blow. Stack up behind him again at the bunker entrance this reveals; a cutscene follows. When control comes back, you are on the floor: shoot the three soldiers coming through the breach in the head before they reach you, then follow the button prompts to the end of the mission. The target is Commander Ri Ju-Young: Kal hands you a magazine, Ko stabs her as you reload, and you finish her with a shot to the head.

Credits, then straight on

After Decapitation, a first set of credits rolls, introducing the cast. Greater Good starts the moment it ends, so stay near the controller. Finishing Decapitation also gives a Double XP Token.

Greater Good

Where: a snowy road and forest towards the Russian border. A short final mission: you play as Price, held prisoner in the Archer’s convoy.

  • 1

    Escape the truck

When the convoy is ambushed, attack the distracted guard at once: if you sit still, the mission fails. Then block the Archer’s shot so the truck crashes. After the crash, free yourself at the prompt when your ally reaches you, pick up the Kastov 545 lying nearby and go after the Archer, who is being escorted away.

  • 2

    Through the forest

Follow the footprints in the snow. Price is badly hurt and his aim sways when you aim down sights: mount your gun on a tree to steady it. A group of three soldiers comes first; three more meet you before the stream, and these throw grenades. On Veteran and above, let them come to you rather than pushing.

  • 3

The drop and the frozen lake

Jump down the frozen drop the Archer took into the gorge. You lose your gun in the fall, but there is no more shooting. Follow him across the snow to the frozen lake and take him down; a sequence of button prompts follows, then the closing cutscene. Price kills the Archer, and the campaign ends with Price and Ghost.

Reward

Finishing Greater Good unlocks Park as an Operator for multiplayer and DMZ.

Hold the Line and Realism

  • Hold the Line (gold): complete the game on any difficulty. Recruit, the easiest, is enough.
  • Was it worth it? (gold): complete the game on Realism difficulty.

Realism unlocks once you have finished the campaign on any other difficulty, so the trophy list takes at least two runs. Realism plays like Veteran with no HUD: friendly fire is on, there is no marker over your teammates, and enemies are accurate, throw more grenades and kill you quickly. Stay in cover, lean out to take one enemy at a time, and go back into cover.

The simplest order is a first run on a comfortable difficulty for the mission trophies and collectibles, then the Realism run. Anything still missing afterwards can be replayed from mission select, and none of the trophies is missable.

Cross-checked

Cross-checked on 21 October 2026. The missions’ order was checked against the mission lists of IGN, Game8, Insider Gaming, Dexerto and Polygon; the absence of mission trophies against PowerPyx; Hold the Line, Was it worth it? and how Realism unlocks against PowerPyx, IGN, Insider Gaming, games.gg and Game8; the rewards against Insider Gaming, Game8 and GamesAtlas. The step-by-step routes follow Game8’s walkthroughs, the only full ones published so far; the credits after Decapitation are described by Insider Gaming and Polygon; what Realism changes is PowerPyx’s; the trophy grades are PowerPyx’s and TechWiser’s, which agree. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it, and what the sources do not describe is not on this page.
