Quests: 4 · Act: Act II · The Keepers
Unlocks: Second Keeper memory, Depulso puzzle rooms
1. Charles Rookwood's Trial
The second Keeper trial leans harder on spatial puzzles than the first. It also opens the Depulso puzzle rooms, a set of optional challenge chambers scattered around the map that reward gear and Field Guide pages.
The trial ends in another Keeper memory, and the picture of what the four of them actually did starts to come together.
2. Fire and Vice
Fire and Vice follows the Ashwinders to a vineyard and is one of the more memorable set-pieces in the middle of the campaign.
3. In the Shadow of the Mine
This is the Sebastian quest where his questline stops being a side story. It concerns his sister Anne and the lengths he is prepared to go to for her, and it is where the game first offers you the Unforgivable Curses.
Taking them is a real choice with story consequences and no mechanical penalty. Skipping them costs you nothing in power. Either way, decide deliberately rather than by clicking through the dialogue.
Sebastian's chain has a decision much later that is genuinely irreversible. If you care about how it lands, finish his quests attentively rather than rushing them between main-story beats.
