You earn 48 Talent points by levelling up (from level 5 to 40) plus a few from Professor Weasley's assignments. Talents unlock in tiers gated at levels 5, 16 and 22. Here are the five trees and the standouts in each.
Spells
Buffs your combat spells — the bread and butter of most builds.
Spell Knowledge I–IV
Each adds an extra spell slot loadout — grab all four.
Confringo / Incendio / Diffindo Mastery
Adds a powerful secondary effect to that spell.
Accio Mastery
Pulls in and stuns multiple enemies at once.
Descendo Mastery
Deals area damage where the enemy slams down.
Dark Arts
Amplifies the Unforgivable Curses and curse effects.
Curse Sap
Cursed enemies take extra damage from all sources.
Curse Greater
Crucio spreads its curse to nearby enemies.
Enduring Curse
Curses last longer, keeping the damage rolling.
Core
General survivability and Ancient Magic — great value for every build.
Ancient Magic Throw Expertise
Thrown objects seek and hit harder — huge single-target damage.
Protego Expertise / Mastery
Blocking damages and stuns attackers.
Stupefy Expertise
Your block-counter stun deals damage too.
Wiggenweld Potency
Healing potions restore far more health.
Stealth
For a sneaky, one-shot playstyle.
Human Demiguise
Petrificus Totalus works on humans, not just beasts.
Sense of Secrecy I–II
Stay hidden longer and closer while Disillusioned.
Petrificus Totalus Mastery
A sneak-petrify chains to a nearby enemy.
Room of Requirement
Beast, plant and potion synergies.
Sprout Trap
Deploy plants as combat tools during fights.
Plant Power / Fertiliser
Combat plants hit harder and last longer.
Edurus Potion Potency
The stone-skin potion also damages attackers.
Recommended core: take all four Spell Knowledge talents first (more spell slots = more combos), then Ancient Magic Throw Expertise and the Protego/Stupefy line for survivability.
