WALKTHROUGH · SKELLIGE

Skellige

Storm-wracked isles, a royal succession, and Ciri's fading trail.

Chapter Overview

Objective: Trace Ciri's last steps and recover "Uma".
Optional romance: Yennefer ("The Last Wish").
Choice: Who takes the throne of Skellige.

1. Yennefer & the Trail

Reunite with Yennefer at Kaer Trolde. Together you investigate where Ciri and the Wild Hunt clashed — the quests "The Nilfgaardian Connection," "Echoes of the Past" and "The Calm Before the Storm." "The Last Wish" (freeing the djinn) resolves Geralt and Yen's magically-bound feelings — pursue it if you want to romance her honestly.

2. The Royal Succession

Big choice

King Bran is dead. In "King's Gambit" and "Coronation" you can help Cerys (wise, stable rule) or Hjalmar (bold, warlike) claim the throne — this shapes Skellige's future and Ciri's morale.

Hjalmar's path includes the epic hunt for the Ice Giant of Undvik ("The Lord of Undvik") — a great early-Skellige boss fight.

3. Ciri & Uma

You discover Ciri escaped the Wild Hunt with the help of the elven sage Avallac'h — now cursed into a grotesque creature called Uma, held by the Bloody Baron. Only the Witchers of Kaer Morhen can lift such a curse. Take Uma there.

4. Chapter Complete

With the trail converging on Uma, it's time to return to the Witcher stronghold, break the curse, and finally reunite with Ciri — just as the Wild Hunt closes in.
