TREASURES & EQUIPMENT

From the unbreakable Master Sword to the ancient Hylian Shield. Discover where to find the best gear in the game.

Legendary Equipment

🗡️

The Master Sword

Location: Korok Forest (Great Hyrule Forest).

Requirement: You must have 13 permanent Heart Containers to pull the sword from its pedestal. Temporary yellow hearts from meals do not count.

Mechanics: The Master Sword does not break permanently. When its energy is depleted, it takes 10 minutes to recharge. Its base attack is 30, but it glows and doubles to 60 attack power near Guardians, inside Hyrule Castle, and inside Divine Beasts.

🛡️

The Hylian Shield

Location: The Lockup beneath Hyrule Castle.

Requirement: You must defeat the Stalnox (giant skeleton boss) in the Lockup to open the chest containing the shield.

Mechanics: With a durability of 800 and a parry power of 90, it is by far the best shield in the game. If it breaks, you can buy a replacement from Grante in Tarrey Town (once the town is fully built).
