Fast travel is discovery-based, through two kinds of point: Abyss Nexus teleporters (little city-model markers you activate by standing in the circle and raising your lantern) and Abyss Cressets — hidden points found by searching the "?" areas on the map, each one also handing you an Abyss Artifact (a skill point) the first time.
1. Regional Overview
Pywel is divided into five regions, each with its own character rather than a strict level gate.
| Region | Character | Key Landmarks | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hernand | Green plains and forests; the starting region, and quieter than it looks — noble-house politics simmer under the surface. | Castle Hernand, Pororin Village, Scholastone Ruins | Home turf of House Roberts and the Hernand Commissions faction |
| Pailune | Snow-capped mountains in the north; steep terrain and limited visibility make this the region's toughest to simply walk across. | The high mountain passes | Cold-resistance gear is worth having before you go up |
| Demeniss | Pywel's political and administrative center, thick with ritual and old history — locals say the veil to the supernatural runs thin here. | The Spire of Clockwork | Environmental puzzles and lore lean heavier here than combat |
| Delesyia | The wealthiest region and the continent's trade crossroads — sophisticated architecture, exotic markets, and the guilds that run them. | Its markets and trading posts | The most technologically distinct region on Pywel |
| Crimson Desert | The region that names the game: sandstorms and heat are as dangerous as anything with a sword, and it's built as the late-game proving ground. | Tommaso, Varnia, Urdavah, Arcosa | Contested by factions like the Sandfang Marauders, Goldenscale Bandits and The Helms |
No source we checked publishes a firm level range per region, so none is listed above — treat the order here as roughly the order most players see them, not a hard gate.
2. Making Money
These are the routes and systems players actually report using, from a quick early loop to a bank-investment method for the late game.
A repeatable loop reported to net roughly 3,000-4,500 Gold per run early on.
- Accept the local combat bounties around Hernand.
- Clear the two connected bandit camps in the Riverbed.
- Mine the iron veins along the cliffs and hunt local wildlife for pelts on the way.
- Sell everything back in town to close the loop.
Two gathering loops that don't need combat.
- Fast-travel to the Abyss Nexus in the Witchwoods and gather Red Croton, then sell and repeat.
- Mine diamonds west of Unicorn Cliff — reports put them at 2.25 Silver each, up to 8 per node.
- The Trading Post loop also pays: buy local goods, sell them at the next post on your route, and the return trip stops being a wasted trip.
The route reports describe as the real money-maker once you have Gold Bars to spare.
- Buy a Personal Strongbox Permit for 100 Silver to start investing.
- "High Risk" placements pay the most, but the outcome runs on a random timer rather than a guaranteed rate.
- Because it's a save-and-see system, saving before you place a bet and reloading a bad outcome is a known (if grindy) way to work it.
3. Hidden Map Locations
Abyss Cressets
Marked by white "?" search areas on the map. Each one is a secret place that grants an Abyss Artifact (a skill point) and unlocks as a new Fast Travel point the first time you find it.
The Dark Fog Lantern
Earned through an Alfonso House faction quest in Hernand. It reveals memory fragments, hidden clues, sealed Abyss Artifacts and ghost holograms that are otherwise invisible — hold the Lantern or Guiding Light prompt to highlight anything nearby.
Drakesfall Gorge
The Ancient Ruins here hide a Red Light, Green Light puzzle straight out of Squid Game — move while the statue's head is turned away, freeze the moment it looks back.
Cross-checked
Cross-checked on 6 September 2026 against G FUEL's and Magicstark's region guides — both independently name the same five regions (Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia and the Crimson Desert region) with matching character and landmarks; a third site describing regions as "Kweiden," "Akashen" and "The Sky Islands" with invented bosses like a "Black Dragon" does not match either source or anything else found and was not used. The fast-travel mechanic (Abyss Nexus and Abyss Cressets) and the Dark Fog Lantern are confirmed by PowerPyx's secrets guide. The money-making routes are cross-checked between KeenGamer and a 2026 silver-farming guide (DropReference), which agree on the Hernand bounty circuit's rough payout and the bank's save-and-see Strongbox mechanic; neither source gives a firm level range per region, so this page doesn't invent one. What is still unverified is the only thing reading cannot settle — nobody here has played it.
