✨ Ancient Magic Hotspots are small environmental puzzles out in the Highlands (none in the castle or Hogsmeade). Each one you complete permanently raises your Ancient Magic meter capacity — more meter means more Ancient Magic Throws and finishers in combat. Use Revelio to spot the glowing marker.
What a hotspot actually is: you interact with a pool of magic, then walk through the three
runes that appear nearby. That is the whole thing — no fight, no long puzzle — which makes these
among the quickest collectibles in the game.
🗺️ And none are in the castle or Hogsmeade: all twenty are out in the Highlands. They also cluster
hard — Hogwarts Valley holds six and Feldcroft four, so half of them sit in two regions. If you
are making a dedicated trip, those two regions are the trip.
