The islands span grassland, desert, volcano, snow and coast — each with its own Pals, resources and hazards.

Know the land

Starter grasslands (southeast) — easy Pals and your first base.
Desert (northeast) — sulfur and Fire Pals; bring heat-resist gear.
Volcano (west) — ore, coal and Dragon/Fire Pals.
Snowfields (north) — Ice Pals and the Astral Mountains endgame; pack cold-resist gear.
