No. Update 1.7.99 (20 August 2026, hotfixed 27 August) is about the Creations platform: 15 GB of mod storage on PS5 and Xbox, load-order fixes and Creation Kit changes. Nothing in the game's collectibles, quests or totals moved. The one thing to know is for modded PC setups: the new executable breaks SKSE and version-locked plugins until they are updated, and a modded save may not load on it. Back up your saves before Steam updates the game, or hold the version until your mods catch up.

Yes, and yes. The Anniversary Edition reached Switch 2 digitally on 9 December 2025, with a code-in-box physical release on 28 April 2026; owners of the Switch Anniversary Edition upgrade free. What Switch 2 adds is presentation and input — higher resolution, faster loading, Joy-Con 2 mouse support, motion controls, amiibo — and update 1.2 (February 2026) added a 60 Hz mode, with the frame rate locked to 30 Hz when you prioritise visuals instead. None of it touches a single total on this guide: the shouts, stones, artifacts, masks and Black Books are the same list on every platform.

Without an account, yes — the checkmarks live in that browser only. With an account they are stored server-side and come back when you log in again.
