ZOMBIES REFERENCE

Pack-a-Punch & Survival

Two systems keep your weapon lethal into the high rounds: Pack-a-Punch (damage tiers + an Ammo Mod slot) and Rarity (raised with Salvage). Stack both, keep your armour, and manage the specials.

Pack-a-Punch Tiers

PaP I
~5,000 Essence
First damage boost and unlocks an Ammo Mod slot.
PaP II
~15,000 Essence
Second damage jump; strengthens your Ammo Mod.
PaP III
~30,000 Essence
Final tier — essential for round 30+.

Weapon Rarity

Rarity raises a weapon's base damage independently of Pack-a-Punch. Upgrade it at the Arsenal / Crafting Table using Salvage. Aim for max rarity and PaP III.

Salvage, Essence & Armour

  • Essence — your main currency (from kills). Spend it on doors, perks, the Mystery Box, Wall Buys and Pack-a-Punch.
  • Salvage — drops from zombies. Spend at the Crafting Table on rarity upgrades, equipment (grenades, Molotovs, monkey bombs), ammo and armour plates.
  • Armour — buy an armour vest and plates (up to three); higher tiers absorb far more damage. Re-plate constantly.
  • Mystery Box & Wall Buys — the Box gambles for rare guns and Wonder Weapons; Wall Buys give reliable ammo for a set weapon.

Special & Elite Enemies

Vermin
Small, fast swarms that spawn in waves — clear them quickly before they overwhelm.
Parasites
Flying enemies that spit projectiles; shoot them out of the air.
Manglers
Armoured elites with an arm cannon. Shoot the cannon arm or the head.
Amalgams
Huge grabbers that pin you; break free and hit the glowing weak points.
Abominations
Three-headed beasts with a sweeping beam — flank and target the open mouths.
Doppelghasts
Teleporting elites (notably on Terminus) that split when hit.

High-Round Survival

  • Priority perks: Jugger-Nog → Quick Revive → Speed Cola → Stamin-Up, then PhD Flopper and Deadshot.
  • Train the horde: run big circles in an open area and mow them down behind you rather than standing still.
  • Carry a PaP III, max-rarity LMG for hordes and your map's Wonder Weapon for specials.
  • Save equipment and Field Upgrades (Aether Shroud) for panic moments and elite trains.
  • Keep armour plates topped up and never let Jugger-Nog lapse after a down.
