Two systems keep your weapon lethal into the high rounds: Pack-a-Punch (damage tiers + an Ammo Mod slot) and Rarity (raised with Salvage). Stack both, keep your armour, and manage the specials.
Pack-a-Punch Tiers
Weapon Rarity
Rarity raises a weapon's base damage independently of Pack-a-Punch. Upgrade it at the Arsenal / Crafting Table using Salvage. Aim for max rarity and PaP III.
Salvage, Essence & Armour
- Essence — your main currency (from kills). Spend it on doors, perks, the Mystery Box, Wall Buys and Pack-a-Punch.
- Salvage — drops from zombies. Spend at the Crafting Table on rarity upgrades, equipment (grenades, Molotovs, monkey bombs), ammo and armour plates.
- Armour — buy an armour vest and plates (up to three); higher tiers absorb far more damage. Re-plate constantly.
- Mystery Box & Wall Buys — the Box gambles for rare guns and Wonder Weapons; Wall Buys give reliable ammo for a set weapon.
Special & Elite Enemies
High-Round Survival
- Priority perks: Jugger-Nog → Quick Revive → Speed Cola → Stamin-Up, then PhD Flopper and Deadshot.
- Train the horde: run big circles in an open area and mow them down behind you rather than standing still.
- Carry a PaP III, max-rarity LMG for hordes and your map's Wonder Weapon for specials.
- Save equipment and Field Upgrades (Aether Shroud) for panic moments and elite trains.
- Keep armour plates topped up and never let Jugger-Nog lapse after a down.
