Trophy Roadmap: The Order of Runs

Runs
One trophy guide says 4 at the very least, about 6 in practice.
Missable
Every chapter and collectible trophy, inside each run: there is no chapter select.
Do first
The Mercenaries, for the Handcannon.

Before you start

⚠️
There is no chapter select, so a chapter trophy you miss waits for the next run, and treasures, requests and Castellans are lost with the region you leave. Keep manual saves in several slots, especially one at the Chapter 16 Merchant. One trophy guide says the two S+ trophies do not cover each other: Hardcore S+ does not unlock Standard S+, so they are two runs, unless you get S+ on Professional, which one guide says unlocks both.

An order that works

  1. 1 · The Mercenaries

Download the free mode and get an S rank on the Village, Castle and Island stages with any character. That unlocks the Handcannon before your first story run.

  2. 2 · A full run

On Assisted or Standard, collect every treasure, finish every request, destroy all 16 Castellans, get S on every shooting range game, and pick up the chapter trophies as they come (the cannon, the minecarts, the clock tower lift, the jet ski).

  3. 3 · New Game+ challenge runs

With a strong, fully upgraded handgun and knife, do a run using only knives and handguns, and do not talk to the Merchant: Minimalist and Silent Stranger. Another quick run with infinite weapons and no healing items earns Frugalist.

  4. 4 · Professional with an A rank

In New Game+, buy the Infinite Rocket Launcher (2,000,000 ptas) and finish Professional in under 7 hours. That unlocks the Chicago Sweeper for Gun Fanatic, and Peerless Agent.

  5. 5 · Two S+ runs from a New Game

Standard under 5 hours and Hardcore under 5 hours 30 minutes. Finish the Village requests for 30 Spinels and buy an Exclusive Upgrade Ticket in the Castle for infinite ammo on the Chicago Sweeper or Handcannon.

Separate Ways

  • None of the seven Separate Ways trophies is missable, one trophy guide says, and three come from its story bosses.
  • One trophy guide's plan: a full first run with all seven requests (for the Elite Knife), a Professional New Game+ run in under 4 hours for Ada's Chicago Sweeper, then Professional from a New Game in under 2 hours 30 minutes with no more than 10 saves for Ada the "S+"py.
  • Professional also unlocks the Standard and Hardcore completion trophies of Separate Ways, that guide says.

Cross-checked

Cross-checked on 24 October 2026 against the PowerPyx trophy guides for the main game and for Separate Ways, Game8's 100% roadmap, missables, rank and Mercenaries pages, IGN's unlockables pages, and the Exophase and Steam trophy lists. The order of runs follows PowerPyx; Game8's roadmap pairs the challenge runs differently (Silent Stranger with Frugalist). The run counts, the S+ stacking rule, the Chapter 16 save, the Separate Ways plan and its save limit come from PowerPyx alone. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it.
