Level: ~35+.
Trigger: The notice board "The Beast of Toussaint," or knights who seek you out.
Unlocks: The huge region of Toussaint, mutations, Grandmaster gear, and your own home — Corvo Bianco.
1. The Beast of Beauclair
Duchess Anna Henrietta summons you to Toussaint to stop a series of grisly murders. The trail leads to a higher vampire — and to a reunion with an old friend, Regis. Investigate the crime scenes with Witcher Senses to unmask the killer's pattern.
2. Dettlaff & Syanna
The "Beast" is Dettlaff, a higher vampire being blackmailed. The woman he's protecting — and the one pulling the strings — is Syanna, the Duchess's estranged sister. To reach her you journey into the storybook Land of a Thousand Fables, one of the game's most enchanting sequences.
3. The Final Choice
To get the "everyone lives" ending you must get Syanna's ribbon from the Land of a Thousand Fables and convince her to reconcile with Anarietta. Fail, and either Dettlaff kills the Duchess or Syanna dies. Then face Dettlaff in a brutal two-phase fight (Yrden circle + crossbow to ground his misty form).
4. Corvo Bianco & Rewards
Toussaint gives Geralt the retirement he deserves: the vineyard Corvo Bianco, which you can furnish and upgrade (racks for your gear, bonuses for resting). You also unlock Mutations (game-changing build perks), the Grandmaster tiers of every Witcher set, the Manticore set, and the legendary silver sword Aerondight.
