The total of 27 comes from IGN, GTA Wiki, Vandal, GTA Boss and GTA Xtreme; the 15 land, 6 bird and 6 sea split and the animal of each plant from GTA Wiki, Vandal and GTA Boss; each place from at least three of IGN, GTA Wiki, Vandal and GTA Boss. The game does not number the plants, and the guides list them in different orders. The list follows GTA Wiki's order. Platforms: IGN, GTA Wiki, Vandal and GTA Boss (Vandal names PC Legacy and PC Enhanced). Cryptozoologist with the 21 land and bird plants, and the Golden Peyote conditions: GTA Wiki, Vandal and GTA Boss. The separate GTA Online set: GTA Boss, Vandal and GTA Xtreme. No source says the Story Mode plants were ever removed. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it.
