And the answers people do not want
💻 Is there a PC version?
Not at launch, and no date has been given. If you play on PC, the honest position is that you are waiting, probably into 2027, and that buying a console for it is a decision to take on its own terms rather than as a stopgap.
🎮 What about PS4 and Xbox One?
No. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. This is the first mainline GTA in thirteen years and it is not coming back to the hardware GTA 5 launched on.
🌐 Will GTA Online be there on day one?
It has not been confirmed for launch. Plan for a single-player game on 19 November and treat anything online as a later addition — that is what Rockstar has actually committed to.
🛒 When did pre-orders open?
25 June 2026, across the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store and the usual retailers. There is no collector's edition.
How big is it, really
🗺️ The number Rockstar gave
Rob Nelson, Rockstar's co-head of development, has said Leonida is twice the size of GTA 5's map and three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2's. That is the studio's own figure, not a leak.
📍 What is named so far
Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park — the six this guide tracks. More will exist; these are the confirmed ones.
👥 Two protagonists, not three
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, playable and intertwined. GTA 5 had three; this is a tighter structure built around a pair.

Cross-checked on 10 September 2026 against Rockstar's own announcements, PC Gamer's edition breakdown and the reporting on Rob Nelson's map comments, which agree on the 19 November 2026 date and the two launch platforms, on the $79.99 and $99.99 editions, on there being no PC version dated, and on the map being twice GTA 5's and three times Red Dead 2's. What is still unverified is the only thing reading cannot settle — nobody here has played it.
