Quests: Taking French Leave, The King’s Gambit, The Feast (18–20).
Opens: The court, the church and the nobles’ games.
Watch for: Die Another Day is saving the brother as Godwin in The Feast.
1. French leave
Leaving without goodbye, and what it costs.

Taking French Leave
A quiet exit that is not quiet. Stealth pays here.
-
2
The King’s Gambit
Die Another Day is not here but in the next quest, The Feast.
2. The banquet
The knives under the table.

The Feast
As Godwin, the priest, save his brother Christopher Oderin: Die Another Day is the trophy, and it is missable inside the quest. A banquet with more politics than food. Say the right things, eat the wrong ones (unless Lent), and watch who leaves early.
3. Fights and trophies
- The King’s Gambit: Henry’s quest, and not a fight: he gets into the town council dressed as a royal servant.
- The Feast: Godwin’s fight, and there is no avoiding it: von Bergow’s men storm the fortress once the wine is fetched. Keep the brother alive.

Cross-checked
Cross-checked on 17 September 2026 against PowerPyx’s main-quest walkthrough and trophy roadmap (the quest order, the two points of no return and the quest-bound trophies) and PCGamesN’s quest list; the route is the guides’, not from a playthrough. What is still unverified is the only thing reading cannot settle — nobody here has played it. Re-checked on 1 October 2026 against EliteGuias, Vandal and Fextralife: the fight and the brother belong to The Feast, which cannot be got through without a fight; The King’s Gambit is Henry getting into the council.
