What the game is

  • A survival horror game by Capcom, first sold in weekly episodes from late February to mid-March 2015, then as a full season on disc and download.
  • Claire Redfield and Moira Burton, Barry's daughter, work for the anti-bioterrorism group Terra Save. Armed men storm a Terra Save party, and the two wake up in an abandoned detention facility on a remote island.
  • Barry Burton later lands on the same island looking for Moira and meets Natalia Korda, a girl who can sense enemies and hidden items.
  • A voice the game calls the Overseer watches and taunts the prisoners throughout.
  • Two guides place the story between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6.

How an episode is built

The four characters

🔫 Claire Redfield
The fighter of the first pair. Carries the firearms, a knife and the thrown bottles you craft.
🔦 Moira Burton
Carries no gun. Her flashlight stuns enemies and shows hidden items; her crowbar hits enemies and pries open locked boxes and doors.
🎯 Barry Burton
The fighter of the second pair, with handguns, a magnum, rifles and the knife.
👁️ Natalia Korda
Senses enemies through walls and points at hidden items. She throws bricks, crawls through small gaps to open doors, and opens boxes Barry cannot.

Raid ModeOpen from the start; you do not need to finish the story first

First habits worth building

  • Switch to Moira or Natalia often. Moira's light and Natalia's sense show the hidden gems and boxes that pay for your skills.
  • Craft bottles. An empty bottle plus a reagent becomes an exploding, firebomb, decoy or smokescreen bottle.
  • Sneak up on Revenants for a stealth attack instead of spending ammo, and use Natalia to see where they wait.
  • Fit custom parts to your guns at the workbenches. Parts come from boxes, many of them locked so that only Moira or Natalia can open them.
  • Some medals stay hidden until you have finished that character's part once, so the first run is for learning the route, as two guides advise.
  • Documents, Kafka Drawings, Insect Larvae and Tower Emblems are collectibles, but no trophy asks for them.

Cross-checked

Cross-checked on 24 October 2026 against Capcom's store text on Steam and the Nintendo eShop, Capcom's Japanese site, the Steam announcements, the official trophy list as shown by Steam and PSNProfiles, PSNProfiles' trophy guide, the GameFAQs guide by vinheim and Bkstunt_31, IGN's Revelations 2 wiki guide (skills, sub-weapons, custom parts), Evil Resource's character page, Evil Resource's item and enemy pages, and the user-contributed unlockables lists on GameFAQs and the Resident Evil Wiki on Fandom. The setting between Resident Evil 5 and 6 comes from PSNProfiles and GameFAQs; No Escape and how it unlocks comes from the GameFAQs unlockables list and the Fandom wiki, which agree; hidden medals from PSNProfiles and GameFAQs. Countdown and Invisible opening per episode for 1,000 BP comes from PSNProfiles, GameFAQs and the Fandom wiki. Raid Mode being open without finishing the story comes from Capcom's Japanese site. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it.
