Missable Trophies: No Chapter Select, So Save Before These

Chapter select
None, and no free roam after the credits. The only way back is an earlier save.
Manual saves
Manual saves at save points in the world; one trophy guide counts eight slots.
Missable
Every trophy that is not story progress: twenty of the forty-four shared ones.
Bugged
What're Ya Buyin? and What're Ya Sellin? on PS5: earn both at the first shop.
Playthroughs
One is enough if you save in the right places.

There is no going back

⚠️
Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival has no chapter select, and once the story ends there is no free roam either. Anything optional you leave undone in an area is gone for that playthrough unless you reload a manual save made before it. The story trophies cannot be missed; everything else can.

How saving works

  • One trophy guide counts eight manual save slots. You save at save points placed in the world.
  • Spread your save slots across the whole story instead of overwriting one. A save from before a tricky section turns a failed attempt into a reload instead of a second playthrough.
  • No trophy on any platform asks for a difficulty, so nothing is lost by playing on the lowest one.
  • One guide reports that Hard turns off autosave and that the hardest mode, Hellraiser, only lets you save by spending limited Save Tokens. The reload tricks on this page assume a normal save setup; if you want the trophies without stress, do not pick Hellraiser for this run. We found no second source of standing for these rules.

Where to put your manual saves

  1. 1 · Next to Zora's first shop

Save before you sell or buy anything. This is the save that protects the two shop trophies.

  2. 2 · At the start of the graveyard

A Quiet Place fails the moment you are seen or throw something. One trophy guide advises keeping to the eastern side, staying crouched in cover and slipping past Charlotte on the way back; reload if it goes wrong.

  3. 3 · Before the docks shooting range

Nine bottles by one trophy guide's count, and limited ammunition. A save here lets you try again with a full magazine.

  4. 4 · Just before the final choice

Take one ending, then reload the final autosave, which puts you back at the choice, and take the other. Keep a manual save from the last save point before the Ritual of Rebirth as a fallback.

  5. 5 · Keep the rest spread out

Use the other slots at regular intervals so that a missed pillar or a forgotten firearm costs you an hour, not the whole game.

Bugged and odd trophies

🪙 The two shop trophies on PS5
Trophy guides report that on PS5 the counters for What're Ya Buyin? and What're Ya Sellin? can stop rising after the first shop, and then neither trophy can be earned on that save. The fix is to finish both at Zora's first shop: save nearby, sell what you can, buy, sell again and repeat until both unlock, reloading if they do not.
🩹 Has a patch fixed it?
Not as far as the official notes say. Update 1.1, posted on Steam on 15 October 2026, is for PC; it says the console patch is still coming, and its list of fixes does not mention trophies, achievements or the shop.
⚡ Electro-Shock Therapy has another name on Xbox
Same condition, different title: on Xbox it is “Hairraiser: Revival”. PlayStation and Steam call it Electro-Shock Therapy.
🪦 A Quiet Place may unlock after a reload
One trophy guide notes that reloading the latest autosave just before placing the key at the end can unlock it even if you were spotted earlier. No other source we read mentions it; treat it as a fallback, not a plan.

Steam-only achievements that need a plan

  • Most of the 25 achievements only Steam has come with ordinary play: craft an item, heal to full, pick a lock, break a lockpick, kill with a knife or a firearm. The ones below need you to do something on purpose.
  • Trapper (damage 10 enemies with bear traps): the Bear Trap recipe only goes on sale after the Statue's Tongue, so start crafting and setting traps from there.
  • Financial Elite (spend 1,337 coins in the shop): the ten recipes Zora sells cost 1,660 coins together, so buying all of them for Librarian covers it.
  • I Spy with My Little... (6 kills through the revolver scope): one Steam achievement guide says the Revolver and its scope are both bought from Zora; buy the scope once the Revolver is on sale.
  • No Life in the Void, Only Death (die to Leviathan's gaze): one Steam achievement guide places it in the Labyrinth after the Sister of Mercy, by letting Leviathan's black beam hit you. Save first; it costs a death.
  • Breacher (kill a fully armoured enemy without breaking its armour): the same guide points to the armoured enemy in the well and says to burn it.

The pillar artifacts

  • Pain and suffering pillars are found in the Labyrinth sections, usually a little off the main path. The first one you activate gives The Further Regions of Experience.
  • One trophy guide counts five pain pillars and five suffering pillars and says the Labyrinth walls close behind you, so most cannot be gone back for. No other source we read gives the totals.

Cross-checked

Cross-checked on 20 October 2026 against the Steam achievement list and store page (app 1551980), the PlayStation and Xbox lists as mirrored by Exophase, PSNProfiles and TrueAchievements, the trophy guides of PowerPyx, FandomWire, Destructoid and AllThings.how, the recipe lists of PowerPyx, AllThings.how and GMTreks (they agree on every recipe, shop and price), SteamAH's Steam achievement guide, and the Update 1.1 notes on Steam. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it.
