Quests: Awakening, Train Hard Fight Easy, Keeping the Peace (4–6).
Opens: Rattay, Peshek’s mill, Captain Bernard’s yard, the tourney, the bathhouse, Talmberg and Neuhof’s side quests.
Watch for: Awakening is the trophy for joining Radzig’s garrison. Reading is not here — it is in Uzhitz, two chapters on, and worth going early.
1. The mill
Waking up owing money.
-
1
Awakening
Peshek has nursed you and wants his debt back: that is The Good Thief, a separate side quest that starts here and teaches lockpicking. Pebbles comes later, free at the start of The Hunt Begins.
-
2
Radzig’s garrison
Report to Rattay. Awakening, the trophy, is joining it.
2. Bernard
The most important man in the game.
-
1
Train Hard, Fight Easy
Bernard’s first lesson: the feint and the perfect block. Come back for combos, and come back again for the master strike: a mock duel in which you bring him down to a third of his health, with Sword, Mace or Axe at 3 or higher (Kingdom Come wiki).
-
2
Keeping the Peace
A day as a guard: the market, drunks, Hans Capon being Hans Capon. Reputation starts counting here.
3. Fights and trophies
- Bernard, training: Losing to him is free. Lose a lot.
- The Rattay tourney: Optional, and the best practice after Bernard.
4. Before you move on
Cross-checked
Cross-checked on 17 September 2026 against the Kingdom Come wiki’s main-quest list and pages and PowerPyx’s trophy roadmap (the quest order, the two points of no return and the quest-bound trophies); the route is the guides’, not from a playthrough. What is still unverified is the only thing reading cannot settle — nobody here has played it.
