Quests: 3 · Act: Act II · The Keepers
Unlocks: First Keeper memory, Alohomora
1. Percival Rackham's Trial
The first trial takes you out of the castle to San Bakar's Tower in North Ford Bog, on the northern edge of the map. The trials follow a shared pattern: a set of magical puzzles built around the spells you already know, followed by a memory that advances the story of the four Keepers.
If a puzzle stalls you, the answer is almost always a spell you have rather than one you are missing — Accio, Depulso, Levioso and Incendio between them solve most of what the trials ask.
2. The Caretaker's Lunar Lament
Back at the castle, Gladwin Moon the caretaker asks for help recovering scattered Demiguise statues, which can only be collected at night.
This is the quest that grants Alohomora, and it is easily the most valuable unlock in this stretch: locked doors are everywhere, and a great many Field Guide pages and chests sit behind them.
- 1
Statues can only be collected at night
By day the statue is there but its moon cannot be taken: open the map and use its Wait option to skip to night first.
- 2
Returning statues upgrades the spell
Alohomora has tiers, and higher tiers open higher-level locks. Handing in statues is how you raise it.
- 3
Track them as you go
Our Demiguise statue tracker lists every location and syncs to your Game Memory.
3. The Helm of Urtkot
The Helm of Urtkot sends you into a goblin tomb after a relic, and gives the goblin conflict a perspective beyond Ranrok. It is the first main quest that sits properly in the open world rather than in the castle.
