The part that matters before launch
What carrying four weapons actually means
Two primaries is a mid-fight decision, not a menu one
Both primaries are on you at once, each with its own power surge. Switching is part of the combat rather than something you do at a bonfire, so a loadout is closer to a fighting-game character than to an RPG build.
Two phantom edges cover what the blades cannot
Cannons, lances, axes and hammers sit in the secondary slots. A ranged option like the Tiger Cannon in one of them is an answer to a specific problem rather than a playstyle you commit to.
And the whole thing is reversible
Upgrades unlock new forms and techniques, and the investment can be reset to recover the resources. That is unusual for the genre and it changes how you should play the first ten hours: use what feels good now, because nothing you spend is stranded.
