⚔️ El Impoluto
A Spanish Man-o-War with a devastating ram — keep moving, never sit still, and punish the recovery after its charge.
🖤 La Dama Negra
Fast and mortar-heavy; brace before its barrages and answer with heavy shot and your own mortar between volleys.
👑 Royal Sovereign
Half of a twin fight alongside HMS Prince — focus one ship down completely before splitting your fire.
⚓ HMS Prince
The second of the twins; kite so they can't flank you, and finish the weakened ship first.
Recommended Jackdaw setup
🛡️ Hull Armour (max)
Your health bar. Bump every rank to the elite tier before you even find the ships — survivability decides these fights more than raw damage.
💥 Broadside Cannons (elite)
Your bread-and-butter damage. Elite broadsides need a design plan looted from the world, so grab it before you commit.
🎯 Heavy Shot & Ram
Heavy shot melts hulls on close passes; the ram punishes a ship that's just finished a charge or barrage.
🧨 Mortar & Fire Barrels
The mortar chips from range between the enemy's volleys; fire barrels buy you space when a fight collapses on top of you.
Winning tactics
- Max the Jackdaw first — Hull Armour, Broadside Cannons, Ram and the heavy mortar are non-negotiable.
- Brace (hold the prompt) just before incoming broadsides to survive the big hits.
- Keep the wind at your back for mobility and use ramming on weakened passes.
- Drop fire barrels to break away if you get surrounded, then re-engage on your terms.
Rewards
Sinking all four Legendary Ships unlocks the game's best naval reward — a special upgrade for the Jackdaw — plus a chunk of the completion checklist. They don't respawn once beaten, so bring your best and take your time; there's no penalty for a cautious, drawn-out duel.
Before you engage
- Fully upgrade the Jackdaw — half-measures get you sunk fast against these ships.
- Learn the arena: use its islands to break line of fire and reposition.
- For the twins (Royal Sovereign & HMS Prince), kite so they can't flank and focus one down.
- There's no timer or penalty, so play patiently and disengage to reset when low.
