Working the boards
- Naval contracts point you at a specific ship or convoy to sink or plunder.
- Assassination contracts drop you near a target for a stealth kill — use Eagle Vision to tag them.
- Rewards are gold plus reales; stack a few before a shopping trip.
- They respawn as you progress, so they're a reliable grind for the Jackdaw's upgrades.
Doing them efficiently
- Pick up several contracts in a port at once, then chain them on a single sailing route.
- Naval contracts pair well with fort runs — clear both in the same region trip.
- For assassination contracts, scout with Eagle Vision and take the stealth path for the bonus.
- Bank the reales toward the elite Jackdaw upgrades and top-tier weapons.
