100% Black Flag is a collectathon across a big, beautiful map — and the map upgrades make it painless. Almost nothing is missable, so you can mop up at your own pace after the story.
The checklist
- Finish the story and all optional memory sequences (full sync).
- Sink the 4 Legendary Ships, finish the 4 Templar Hunts and collect all 16 Mayan Stelae.
- Capture all 11 forts and grab every Shanty, Chest, Fragment and Treasure.
- Complete Assassin and Naval Contracts, and Kenway's Fleet objectives.
Making it painless
- Buy every region's map upgrade so collectibles appear as icons — no blind hunting.
- Do full-sync optional objectives on the first attempt of each memory to avoid replays.
- Capture forts early; they reveal the surrounding collectibles for that region.
- Keep the Fleet running in the background — some rewards and trophies just need time.
Watch out for
- Full-sync objectives are far easier done on the first attempt than as replays.
- Some versions have separate multiplayer or companion-app trophies — check your platform's list.
- The Fleet needs real time; start routes early so they finish by endgame.
- Otherwise nothing is truly missable — mop up collectibles at your own pace after the story.
