Four Platforms, the Switch 2 Question, and the Published PC Requirements
Platforms
PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Steam and, reportedly, the Microsoft Store.
Xbox claims
4K Ultra HD, 60fps or better, optimised for Series X|S, Xbox Play Anywhere (Xbox store).
Switch
30fps (reported), 4.2 GB, TV, tabletop and handheld (Nintendo's store).
Switch 2
Listed as Supported with behaviour consistent with Switch — backward compatibility. No native version announced; the demo is reported running at 60fps on Switch 2.
4K Ultra HD and 60fps or better; optimised for Series X|S (Xbox store).
Single player, Xbox Play Anywhere, PC game pad support. Download size not published.
PC (Steam)
60fps: Konami's spec sheet gives one frame rate for all versions, with Switch (30fps) the only exception (Konami).
10 GB storage in the requirements. Full controller support, DualSense support, keyboard-only option, custom volume controls, family sharing (Steam).
PlayStation 5
60fps: Konami's spec sheet gives one frame rate for all versions, with Switch (30fps) the only exception (Konami). No resolution claim.
The PlayStation Blog's hands-on used DualSense mappings. Minimum capacity 8 GB, Midnight Edition 10 GB (Konami).
Nintendo Switch
30fps (reported).
4.2 GB, single player, TV, tabletop and handheld modes (Nintendo's store).
Nintendo Switch 2
Nothing claimed by Konami or Nintendo. Since the demo went live, hands-on reports have it running at 60fps by default on Switch 2 (reported).
Nintendo's listing marks it Supported, with behaviour consistent with Nintendo Switch — that is backward compatibility, and no enhanced version has been announced.
The Switch 2 question, answered as far as the sources go
This is the one platform fact worth being careful about, because sources contradict each other. Nintendo's own store page is the strongest evidence: it lists Nintendo Switch 2 as Supported and says the game behaves consistently with the Switch version. That is the standard wording for a Switch game running under backward compatibility, not for a separate Switch 2 release, and there is no upgrade pack listed. Against that, MP1st's preview lists Switch 2 among the launch platforms, and Nintendo Everything's headline says the demo is coming to Switch and Switch 2 — though the text of that article mentions only Switch, and credits the announcement to Konami's own Castlevania account. Konami has not announced a native Switch 2 version, and one press report records readers asking for exactly that confirmation and not getting it. If a Switch 2 version matters to you, no source says one exists. What has changed since the demo went live on 1 October is the frame rate: hands-on reports have the Switch version running at 60fps by default on Switch 2, against the 30fps Konami gives for Switch. Konami has not stated a Switch 2 frame rate, so treat it as reported, and as the same Switch game running faster rather than a separate version.

Ratings, languages and what is missing
The rating does not read the same on both stores
The Xbox store lists Teen. Nintendo's listing reads as Mature. The content descriptors are identical on both: blood, mild suggestive themes and violence. Both are official listings, so this guide records both rather than picking one.
Languages
Nintendo's listing gives eleven: American English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese. No other storefront publishes a language list, and no source says which of them are dubbed rather than subtitled — the English cast is the only one announced.
Single player, everywhere
Steam's categories, the Xbox store's feature list and Nintendo's player count all say single player only. No co-op, no online, no multiplayer mode of any kind is listed on any platform.
Not published anywhere
Any PS5 Pro enhancement; HDR or ray-tracing support; and whether the Switch version has a performance option. None of these appear in Konami's material or on any storefront. On Steam Deck, no official verification rating has been read for this guide, and Konami has acknowledged an interface fault on the device. Download size is published: Konami lists a minimum required capacity of 8 GB for the Standard Edition and 10 GB for the Midnight Edition (Switch: 4 GB and 6 GB).
Cross-checked
Cross-checked on 22 September 2026 against Steam's store data, the Xbox and Nintendo store listings, Konami's demo page, and the coverage of Nintendo Life, Nintendo Everything, MP1st, Gematsu, VGC and RPGFan, and re-checked on 2 October 2026 against Konami's demo-launch post of 1 October and the demo reports of Nintendo Life and Nintendo Everything. The age-rating difference between the two official listings is recorded, not resolved. Re-checked on 5 November 2026: the Steam Deck interface fault comes from Steam Deck HQ alone. Still to confirm in-game.
