How it runs
🎮 PS5
A 30 fps Quality mode and a 60 fps Performance mode. Push Square played Quality on a PS5 Pro and called it smooth; GamingTrend saw frame dips even on Performance, two hard crashes and one body-block that forced a reload, and hoped for a day-one patch. About 7 seconds from menu to game.
💻 PC
PC Gamer reviewed on an RTX 3070 with a Ryzen 5 5600G and 16 GB; VGC and GamesRadar+ also played on PC. None of the three reports performance trouble, but after launch Konami acknowledged performance problems in the Steam version, patch 1.3.1 (30 September) reduces stutter caused by shader precompilation, and patch 1.4.0 (8 October) improves frame pacing, further reduces streaming stutter and makes the Letterbox option visible on ultrawide monitors.
🎒 Steam Deck
Steam Deck HQ: borderline playable, 3/5. Lowest settings with TSR or FSR at Performance or Ultra Performance hold 30 fps while you walk; running through town or turning in busy areas drops toward 10 fps with stutter, which it suspects is shader compilation. TSR looks better than FSR at the same cost, and frame generation made it worse. PC Gamer lists Steam Deck as unknown. That test predates patches 1.3.1 and 1.4.0, which target shader-precompilation and streaming stutter; nobody has re-tested the Deck since.
❓ Xbox
Konami's blurb, quoted by PlayStation Universe: not on other consoles until at least six months after release. Nothing more has been said.
Cross-checked
Re-checked on 9 October 2026 and cross-checked on 22 September 2026 against Konami's announcements and Steam notices (update plans, patches 1.3.1 and 1.4.0), the PlayStation Blog and the Steam store page, and against PowerPyx, PlayStation Universe and the reviews at PC Gamer, GamingTrend, Push Square, VGC, GamesRadar+ and Steam Deck HQ. PlayStation Store prices have not been checked. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it, and what the sources do not describe is not on this page.
