- How many
- ⚠️ Disputed: PowerPyx 7, Fextralife 7, Game8 9, VGC 6, Vandal 8. The tracker follows the seven.
- One run?
- PowerPyx: yes, with a manual save before the final quest. ⚠️ Game8's length page says separate playthroughs.
- The save
- Before the final quest — 54 manual slots, plus rotating quick and autosaves.
- Prerequisites
- Lacra's and Crake's questlines must be done BEFORE the finale.
- After an ending
- Back to the title screen. No New Game+ yet; the director says one is coming, with no date. ⚠️ Whether free roam continues afterwards has been read both ways.
- Duelist caveat
- Leaving the valley and Home Sweet Home do not count toward Uphill Battle.
The disagreement, stated plainly
Setting all of them up from one save
Do Lacra's and Crake's questlines first
Before fighting Brencis (the endboss), keep a manual save and do the side questlines of Lacra and Crake. Two of the endings need those chains finished, and reloading a save made after the finale started cannot retroactively complete them. Lacra's chain ends at Midnight Reckoning, Crake's runs through Rise at Dawn to Fall Before Dusk.
Collect the two missable trophies inside those chains before the ending quests
Misery Loves Company "Must be done before her ending-related quest", and The Manumit "Should be done before his ending-related quest". Both are marked MISSABLE, and both are inside chains you are doing anyway — the order is what matters.
Make the manual save
"You can get all endings in a single playthrough. Just keep a manual save before the final quest and reload it after each ending". With 54 manual slots there is no reason to overwrite anything.
Take the routes that branch at the confrontation
The solo route, the two companion routes and the betrayal all branch from dialogue at the final confrontation, so they come off the same save. Reloading returns you to the world; reaching an ending returns you to the title screen.
The three that do not branch there
Leaving the valley happens in the open world at the Coward's Path Shrine; Home Sweet Home is a quest in the tower in The Silts, where the level is run four times in a row before you speak to the family at the start of the fifth cycle — four cycles of one dream level inside a single playthrough, not four playthroughs, and the well must not be inspected; and the past-day-30 outcome needs the clock run out. All three need their own saves, earlier, rather than the pre-finale one.
The choices that decide which endings you can still reach
| Quest | Choice | What the source says it leads to |
|---|---|---|
| Withering Away | Hot, boiling or cold water for Esme's medicine | Hot water is the correct one; boiling and cold both kill her. Use three spoonfuls of herbs; she dies if the quest is not completed in time. |
| Withering Away | Practise Latin with Anca, or refuse | Agreeing starts Page-Turner and costs 2 Time Segments; refusing costs 1 and locks Page-Turner out — and with it the start of Anca's chain. |
| The Gilded Gauntlet | Meet Iulian at the hunting lodge, or show up for the duel | The lodge starts The Bittersweet Toast and the poisoning; showing up means fighting without it. |
| Each vassal duel | Drain at night, or kill | Draining unlocks Scarlet Shield (Ambrus) or Shadowstorm (Bakir) and the option to invite them in; killing forfeits it. |
| Each vassal | Invite in, or refuse | Invited, they fight against Brencis — Ambrus helps, Bakir helps in the final battle, Xanthe unleashes her own attacks. Refused, they stay in Anachora. |
| Stronger Than Achilles | Use the Font of Life, give it to Anca, or destroy it | Use for the Font of Life perk, give for the romance, destroy for a Legendary armour piece. |
| The Night of Horrors | Eat the mandrake, or refuse | Eating unlocks Mandrake Ward and continues the romance; refusing "Locks you out of the subsequent Lacra Romance Route". |
| The Cycle of Love | Ally with Xanthe, or fight her | Allying clears her servants and skips the trap room but forfeits a Legendary Amulet and Blood Surge; fighting keeps both. |
| In the Name of the Father | Ally with Father Florin, refuse, or kill him | Allying gives a shortcut into Greifberg Castle; refusing leaves the door open to agree later; killing him closes it. |
| A Deal with the Devil | Continue the parley, or end the discussion | Continuing keeps the betrayal option open; ending it leads to the fight. |
| Fall Before Dusk | Intervene for Catalin, or stay silent | Intervening saves him; staying silent or letting the timer expire does not — a timed choice inside the quest. |
