Pictos give stats and a passive; master one over four battles to turn it into a Lumina anyone can equip. This is where builds get broken — the difference between a good party and a game-breaking one is almost entirely Lumina planning.
Building with Pictos
- Equip three Pictos per character — stack passives that support one plan.
- Win four fights with a Picto equipped to master it as a Lumina.
- Spend Lumina points to run mastered passives freely across the party.
- Priorities: first-strike, crit, and defensive/heal passives are always useful.

Act early and often — snowball a fight before the enemy gets a turn.
🎯 Crit & damage
Crit rate/damage passives multiply your burst during Break windows.
💚 Sustain
Heal-on-hit, revive and damage-reduction passives carry you through learning a boss.
🔄 Resource generation
Passives that refund AP or build Gradient keep your best skills flowing.
Lumina planning
Because mastered Luminas can run on anyone, plan a shared 'core' of always-on passives (first-strike, sustain, resource generation) and then a character-specific layer that pushes each Expeditioner's mechanic. Farming the four required wins per Picto is quick during normal exploration, so master everything you might want early.

- Lumina points are a shared budget — spend them on the passives that matter most per fight.
- Run an always-on core (first-strike, sustain, resource) plus a per-character layer.
- Re-spend points at a Flag to counter a specific boss's element or attack style.
- Master more Pictos than you need so you always have options to slot in.
