Duo Boons require Boons from two specific gods equipped at once, and Legendaries require a prerequisite from a single god — both are run-defining pickups. You can't force them directly, but taking the right earlier boons makes them appear.
Duos worth chasing
💥 Merciful End (Ares + Aphrodite)
Doomed enemies that are also Weak take a massive burst — a top-tier damage duo.
⚡ Splitting Bolt (Zeus + Artemis)
Your lightning bolts can now fork and crit — enormous room-clear.
🌊 Sea Storm (Zeus + Poseidon)
Jolted foes take extra hits when knocked around; chaotic and strong.
❄️ Cold Fusion (Zeus + Demeter)
Chilled enemies get blitzed by lightning for stacking area damage.
🗡️ Curse of Longing (Ares + Aphrodite/others)
Doom-flavoured duos let your delayed damage tick relentlessly — pair with a fast attack.
🍷 Low Tolerance (Dionysus + Aphrodite)
Enemies afflicted by hangover and weak melt in your DoT pools.
Legendary boons
- Each god has one Legendary that needs a prerequisite Boon — e.g. Zeus's Splitting Bolt line, Athena's Divine Protection.
- They're single-god power spikes: bigger deflect, bigger crit, bigger chain, a second dash.
- Take the listed prerequisite Boon and keep visiting that god to roll the Legendary.
- A Legendary plus a matching Duo is how the strongest high-Heat runs come together.
How to draft them
- Commit to two gods early and keep taking their offers so the shared Duo can appear.
- Use god keepsakes to guarantee the pairing you want in the first rooms.
- Don't skip your core damage for a Duo — take it when it fits, not at any cost.
- Chaos boons and hammers can enable a build; keep an eye on prerequisites you're close to.
