Pharloom in Three Acts

Act 1 — the climb

  1. Moss Grotto, Bone Bottom, the Marrow

Moss Mother, the town, the Bell Beast. Two Bellways, a Silk Heart and the map.

  2. Deep Docks

Swift Step at the altar, Lace on the way. The Forge Daughter sells the first crafted tools.

  3. Far Fields and Hunter’s March

Drifter’s Cloak from the Seamstress, the Fourth Chorus under the bell, the Beast Crest in the chapel cave.

  4. Greymoor and Bellhart

Moorwing, the Halfway House and Nuu, Bellhart’s wishwall and Widow: Needolin.

  5. Shellwood and Blasted Steps

Sister Splinter for Cling Grip, then the steps, Needle Strike, Grindle’s shop, and the Last Judge at the gate. Through it, the Citadel and act 2.

Act 2 — the Citadel

  1. Grand Gate, Choral Chambers, Songclave

The Ventricas, the Songclave wishwall, Jubilana. Enemies hit for two from here.

  2. Underworks and Cogwork Core

Clawline at the altar, the Twelfth Architect, the Cogwork Dancers and the first piece of the Threefold Song.

  3. The Threefold Song

Three pieces across the Citadel — the Dancers, the Vaults and the High Halls — to open the Cradle. Harmonious is the trophy.

  4. The side of the Citadel

Whispering Vaults (Trobbio), Bilewater (Groal), the Slab (Broodmother, First Sinner), Whiteward (the Unravelled), Mount Fay (Faydown Cloak), Wisp Thicket, Memorium, High Halls. Shakra’s duel is in Greymoor, once her Trail’s End wish is done.

  5. Silk and Soul, before the top

The Caretaker in Songclave wants four materials. Bring them before the Cradle: the Soul Snare they make is the difference between the game ending and act 3 beginning.

  6. The Cradle

Lace, then Grand Mother Silk. Bind her and the credits roll; snare her and Pharloom changes.

Act 3 — what is under it

  1. A changed map

Some bosses you skipped come back black-threaded and harder; Shakra and Garmond & Zaza do not come back at all; new wishes on every wall; the Bell Eater has broken the Bellways until you kill it.

  2. The hearts

Nyleth, Crust King Khann, Karmelita and the Clover Dancers each hold a heart; the Abyss asks for three of the four.

  3. The Abyss and Lost Lace

Silk Soar at the bottom, the last shards, and the fight that ends the true route: Sister of the Void.

Still to verify

Cross-checked on 17 September 2026 and re-checked on 23 September 2026 against Nintendo Life’s boss list, the Hollow Knight Wiki and Game8’s wish list. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it, and what the sources do not describe is not on this page.
