Where it runs
| Platform | What is confirmed | What is not |
|---|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | Launch platform, 23 October. Pre-orders opened 28 May. Not on PlayStation 4. | No install size, resolution, frame-rate mode or DualSense feature has been published. |
| Xbox Series X|S | Launch platform, with Xbox Play Anywhere: one purchase covers console and Xbox on PC. Not on Xbox One. | The store page lists no install size; its capability tags (4K Ultra HD, HDR10, 60 fps+, 120 fps) are Microsoft's standard labels, not a published target. ESRB rating still shows as pending. |
| PC | Battle.net, Steam and Xbox on PC. Infinity Ward with Beenox. Launch requirements published on 29 September 2026 in three tiers: minimum, recommended (aimed at 90 fps in multiplayer on High settings) and ray tracing at 4K upscaled. Digital pre-purchases on PC can preload from 15 October at 9:00 AM PT. | No benchmark figures from anyone outside Activision. |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Native build, Infinity Ward with Digital Legends. Pre-orders from 26 August, digital Standard and Vault. First Call of Duty on Nintendo hardware in over a decade. | No official resolution figure. Digital Legends says multiplayer reaches 60 fps docked and about 44 fps handheld, and the Campaign 30 fps; no resolution has been published. |

What Activision promises PC players
- DLSS 4.5 support on high-end configurations.
- Real-time ray tracing expanded across Campaign, Multiplayer and DMZ, with work on ray-traced reflections, ambient occlusion, shadows and volumetrics.
- Multiple upscaling and frame-generation options to trade image quality against performance.
- Shaders prepared ahead of time, and Activision says significantly fewer restarts that an update forces on you.
- Competitive settings aimed at frame rate and responsiveness, and continued work on mouse responsiveness and visual clarity.
- TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are hard requirements, not recommendations — Activision published a separate article about them before the beta.
- Steam players must have a mobile phone number linked to their Steam account to play.
