Missables — What You Can Pass By, and What Chapter Select Gives Back

Chapter select gives it back

💡
Once you have reached a section, chapter select replays it from the campaign menu, so a collectible, Hard Case or secondary objective you walked past can be picked up later without a new campaign. None of the guides we read reports anything locked out for good. What a miss costs is time: replaying the chapter it is in.

What can cost you a replay

🚪 Points of no return
Chapters close behind you. In Act 2, Chapter 2, Hold the Line, the gate to Charlie Squad and the hotel at the end of the chapter are two: pick up what is around before going through.
📋 Secondary objectives you never accepted
Each one has to be accepted when it is offered. Some you are pointed to; others you only find by following a firefight or a conversation, and some are tied to a moment in the chapter.
🔒 Items behind a main objective
Some collectibles and Hard Cases only become reachable after a main objective. If one is on the map but out of reach, it is not missed yet: come back later in the chapter.
🏁 The last collectible
One collectible is only handed over when the campaign ends, so the count is not complete until you have finished Act 5.

Cross-checked

Cross-checked on 5 October 2026 against NoobFeed's chapter list and TechWiser's Act 1 guide, which both say chapters can be replayed, Patchcrazy's Act 2 guide for the points of no return, Game8's collectible, Hard Case and secondary objective pages, Gamer Social Club's act guides and games.gg's achievement guide. Not from a playthrough: nobody here has played it, and what the sources do not describe is not on this page.
