BOSSES

Field Bosses & Evergaols

Limveld is dotted with optional bosses and Evergaols — the fastest way to gear up before nightfall. Clearing the right ones is how a squad out-scales the Night's Tide and walks into the Nightlord over-levelled.

Worth the detour

  • Field bosses drop big runes and gear — prioritise them over trash mobs.
  • Evergaols hold tough foes for strong rewards; bring the squad.
  • Clear one or two per day to out-scale the Night's Tide.
  • Balance risk and the clock — a wipe to an optional boss can cost the run.

Picking your fights

  • Take bosses on your route to a Site of Grace so you can level right after.
  • Skip a fight if the Night's Tide is nearly closed — being caught in the storm is worse than missing loot.
  • Group up for Evergaols; they're tuned to punish a lone Nightfarer.
  • Match your current damage type to the field boss for a faster, safer kill.

Reward types

  • Big rune drops to fund a level or two at the next Grace.
  • Weapons and affinities to match your target Nightlord's weakness.
  • Talismans and passives that shore up survivability or damage.
  • Occasionally relics — a reason to prioritise certain bosses on a farm run.
