The eight Nightlords are the whole point of a run. Match your damage type, learn the pattern, and coordinate the squad — the difference between a wipe and a clean kill is almost always preparation, not reflexes.
General approach
- Scout the Nightlord's weakness and bring a weapon/affinity that exploits it.
- Assign roles going in: one draws aggro, others burst from the flanks.
- Punish the big wind-ups; don't greed damage into unsafe recoveries.
- Save revives and Ultimates for phase transitions and near-wipes.
- Heolstor (the finale) demands your best-levelled run — treat it as the graduation exam.
Know your target
🐺 Beasts (Gladius, Adel)
Aggressive multi-hit combos — bait the lunge, roll through, and punish the recovery.
🐛 Swarm & horror (Gnoster, Maris)
Crowd and status pressure — bring AoE and keep the squad from getting surrounded.
🐎 Speed (Fulghor)
Fast cavalry that closes gaps instantly — hold your dodges and don't over-commit.
🌫️ Ice & fog (Caligo)
Vision and frost pressure — Fire helps, and staying grouped avoids getting picked off.
Squad roles in the fight
- One player holds aggro at the front so the boss faces away from the others.
- Ranged and markers stay on the flanks, tagging weak points and poking safely.
- Bruisers commit burst only during clear openings, then peel out.
- Whoever is free peels to revive instantly — never trade a teammate for greed damage.
