Some Pals massively outperform others. These are the picks worth chasing for combat, for base automation, and for travel — plus how to actually get the standouts.

How to get the standouts
- Anubis: it doesn't spawn in the wild — hunt the level 47 Alpha in Twilight Dunes (around -134, -94) or breed for it.
- Jetragon, Frostallion, Paladius/Necromus: catch them as world Legendaries (see the Legendary Pals tracker).
- Condense duplicates and breed for the Legend, Musclehead or Ferocious passives to push damage.
- Digtoise and Jormuntide Ignis transform base output — prioritise them for automation.
A solid all-round team
- Anubis — top Handiwork at base and a strong Ground fighter in the field.
- A flyer (Nitewing early, Jetragon late) for travel and aerial damage.
- Digtoise and Jormuntide Ignis to automate mining and smelting.
- One counter-element bruiser per tower — swap it in for that specific fight.
- Don't park Jetragon, Shadowbeak or Necromus on base chores — their work suitabilities are unremarkable, and a common Pal like Digtoise or Jormuntide Ignis outperforms them at the job while they sit idle instead of fighting.
