Levelling grants Technology Points, and ancient relics grant rarer Ancient Technology Points. Spend them deliberately on the structures, gear and Pal Gear that actually move your progression forward.
Priorities
- Unlock the Palbox tiers, beds and a Feed Box first so your base runs itself.
- Grab Pal Gear (saddles, harnesses) to ride and deploy your best Pals.
- Build production benches (Weapon Workbench, Assembly Line) near your material Pals.
- Unlock the Egg Incubator early so breeding can start as soon as you have a farm.
Spending Ancient Tech Points
- Ancient points come from tower bosses and dungeon chests — they're scarce, so plan ahead.
- Prioritise the Egg Incubator, high-tier Pal Gear and key endgame structures.
- Don't dump them on cosmetics or low-impact gear you'll quickly replace.
- Legendary schematics (from raids/Alphas) unlock the strongest craftable weapons and armour.
Crafting flow
Keep your workbenches close to the Pals and chests that feed them: a Kindling Pal by the furnace, a Handiwork Pal (Anubis) by the assembly line, and Transporting Pals moving raw materials in. A tight base layout roughly doubles real output compared to scattered stations.
A sensible unlock order
- Tier 1: Palbox upgrades, beds, Feed Box and campfire — the base essentials.
- Tier 2: Pal Gear Workbench, first saddles, a mount and better spheres.
- Tier 3: Assembly Line, electric generator, refrigerator and the Breeding Farm.
- Endgame: Pal Metal gear, legendary schematics and high-tier Pal Gear via Ancient Points.
