Palworld is open — but there's a natural power curve. Follow this roadmap to hit the towers in the right order, build the right bases at the right time, and avoid getting stuck under-levelled.
Early game (Lv 1–15)
- Build a starter base, assign work Pals, and unlock the Palbox, campfire and beds.
- Catch a mount and a Handiwork Pal; craft Pal Spheres in bulk.
- Gather Lifmunk Effigies to lift your capture rate before the grind ramps up.
- Beat the first tower (Zoe & Grizzbolt) with a Ground-type Pal and a decent gun.
Mid game (Lv 15–35)
- Expand to a second base near ore and coal; automate ingots and ammo.
- Start breeding for strong passives and rare Pals; build the Statue of Power for condensing.
- Unlock firearms and Pal Metal armour to survive the harder fights.
- Clear towers two and three (Lily & Lyleen, Axel & Orserk) and gather better schematics.
Late game (Lv 35–50+)
- Hunt the Legendary Pals (Jetragon, Frostallion, Paladius/Necromus) and Legendary schematics.
- Finish the last towers (Marcus & Faleris, Victor & Shadowbeak) and tackle raid bosses.
- Optimise your team with condensed, well-bred Pals and top-tier weapons.
- Farm Ancient Civilization Parts and Pure Quartz for the best gear and Pal Gear.
Tower order & counters
- 1. Zoe & Grizzbolt (Electric) — bring Ground (Rushoar, Anubis).
- 2. Lily & Lyleen (Grass) — bring Fire (Arsox, Jormuntide Ignis).
- 3. Axel & Orserk (Dragon/Electric) — bring Ice (Reptyro-counter, Frostallion later).
- 4. Marcus & Faleris (Fire) — bring Water (Penking, Jormuntide).
- 5. Victor & Shadowbeak (Dark) — bring Dragon (Jetragon, Orserk).
Level pacing
Each tower roughly expects a level band — aim a little above it and bring the counter element rather than out-grinding. If a tower wall feels brutal, the fix is usually the right element Pal and a better gun, not ten more levels. Keep a mount and your Lifmunk Effigy count topped up so exploration between towers stays fast and rewarding.
