BESTIARY

Humans & Monsters

You'll face both twisted 'humans' (monstrous foes born of anxiety) and rival tribes. Elemental coverage and stagger control handle most of them, and reading their weaknesses turns tough packs into free extra turns.

What you'll face

  • Common monsters have clear elemental weaknesses β€” scout and exploit for extra turns.
  • Elite field enemies can be staggered in real time for an ambush advantage.
  • Some overworld foes are far above your level β€” flee and return later.
  • Dungeon guardians reward a prepared, weakness-covering party.

Fighting efficiently

  • Use the real-time field attack to stagger a foe and open battle a turn ahead.
  • Weak trash can be defeated in the field without a full turn-based fight β€” great for time.
  • Analyse new enemies once so their weaknesses show automatically next time.
  • Retreat from 'Powerful' skull-marked enemies until your levels and Archetypes catch up.
