Armour, honestly

  • The best sets are assembled, not bought: pieces from the Kuttenberg region’s smiths and the corpses of the men who wore them, upgraded to gold quality at a forge.
  • Early: the Tachov blacksmith, north of Troskowitz, sells the best armour a Trosky Henry can afford.
  • Weight is a stamina tax. Plate for sieges, mail and gambeson for the road; Well Worn does not exist this time, so choose.
  • Legacy of the Forge’s sketches and your own smithy are the endgame of gear: Innovator is every sketch and every item.

Still to verify

Cross-checked on 17 September 2026 and re-checked on 1 October 2026 against the horse guides of Game Rant, PCGamesN, GamesRadar, Vandal, EliteGuias, Eurogamer.es and Fextralife. Not from a playthrough: checked against the sources above. Still to confirm in-game.
