Every Minigame That Matters, and What It Wants

With a trophy attached

🐤 Chocobo racing
Gold Saucer: the first race is part of the story in chapter 8, free racing from chapter 9. Twenty races across the classes; Hall of Famer wants all twenty won, and Gold Cup or Bust in chapter 12 is the quest that opens the top.
🎹 Piano
Sheet music found around the world, six songs for the Piano Outreach Association. Piano Virtuoso wants each played well enough to be paid — an A rank, not a perfect.
🥊 3D Brawler
Gold Saucer's dodge-and-punch arcade game. Polygonal Prizefighter is beating Sephiroth, the last opponent, which is a memory test of his patterns.
🏟️ Musclehead Colosseum
Gold Saucer's arena, thirty-two bouts across the characters and combinations. Are You Not Entertained? wants them all.
🎭 Loveless
The Gold Saucer play in chapter 12: timed inputs during the performance. Critically Acclaimed wants an S review.
🎺 Junon parade
Chapter 4: five of the ten 7th Infantry soldiers around Junon are enough to go on, and all ten is the 7th, Assemble! trophy; then perform. Stealing the Show is the outstanding-performance prize.
🃏 Queen's Blood
Two trophies and its own page. The tournament is on the Shinra-8.

The rest of the roster

  • Fort Condor (Junon), Cactuar Crush (Corel), Gears and Gambits (Cosmo Canyon): the protorelic minigames, covered on the protorelic page.
  • Costa del Sol's beach set — Pirate's Rampage, Run Wild with Red XIII, Card Carnival, the piano, the wheelie course — buys the swimwear in chapter 6 and feeds Johnny's inn later.
  • Galactic Saviors, the Gold Saucer's rail shooter, and the Dolphin Show in Costa del Sol.
  • Glide de Chocobo in Cosmo Canyon and the chocobo courses in the regions: traversal turned into time trials.
  • Desert Rush in Corel and Cactuar Caper on the beach: quick scores, both on Johnny's list.

Johnny's Treasure Trove

Every minigame's high score, every side quest, every world intel and every simulator challenge is also an item for Johnny's Seaside Inn in Costa del Sol: 88 in all. The 1-Star, 3-Star and 5-Star Hotel trophies are 10, 30 and 60 items; 7-Star Hotel, the only gold trophy, is all 88, and it is the platinum's real requirement. Piano is the one exception: an A rank on the six songs is enough. Cross-checked on 16 September 2026 against the guides of PowerPyx, Push Square and Game8; nobody here has played it, and the score thresholds are theirs, not ours.
