COMPLETION

Trophy / 100% Guide

100% means every chapter's secrets, all transformations, and the fights the main route lets you skip. Most of it is collection rather than difficulty — but a few pieces are missable, and those are the ones worth planning around.

Still to verify. Still to confirm in-game: the full achievement list, which ones are missable, and the exact requirements for each ending.

Completion checklist

  • Clear all six chapters and defeat every Yaoguai King.
  • Complete the hidden objectives that unlock the true ending and Erlang Shen.
  • Collect all transformations, key Spirits, staves and armour sets.
  • Mop up meditation spots and lore items — many need a second, thorough pass.

Efficient cleanup

  • Track the true-ending steps before finishing Chapter 6 so you don't lock yourself out.
  • Use fast travel between shrines to sweep each chapter's Meditation Spots in one pass.
  • Save missed transformations and Spirits for New Game+, which carries your build.
  • Craft every staff and armour set at the shrine once you have the boss materials.

A clean two-run plan

Aim to see the standard ending on run one while tracking (or following a guide for) the true-ending steps, then use New Game+ to mop up. NG+ carries your build and gear, so it's the ideal pass for missed transformations, Spirits, staves and the tougher optional bosses. Craft every set at the shrine as materials come in so completion is mostly done before you even reach NG+.

The order that saves a replay

  1. Clear each chapter's side content before its King

Beating the chapter boss advances the story, and some content is awkward to return to afterwards.

  2. Track the secret-ending chain from Chapter 1

It is the one thing you can lock yourself out of without noticing.

  3. Leave the difficulty-based ones for New Game Plus

You will be stronger and you already know the fights.

Use the trackers

  • The chapter tracker on this guide marks off the six chapters as you clear them.
  • Note which optional bosses you skipped as you go — they are the hardest thing to reconstruct later.
