What the reviews agree on
- The look: the art direction, the folded city and the environments are the most consistent praise, from VGC's 5/5 to Push Square's 8/10.
- The cast: VGC singles out Sean Durrie and Courtney Hope.
- The combat is the split. Some reviewers find it expressive and demanding; IGN, Push Square and PC Gamer all find it wearing thin over the later hours, and Eurogamer thinks the move to action RPG cost the series something.
- The late game: Push Square found the third act's pacing and the final bosses weaker, and VGC found some side activities repetitive near the end.
